My England Squad

Hi,

Well my 2nd blog ... I have been thinking about the squad for the world cup ...

Goalkeepers:

David James, Rob Green & Ben Foster

I have taken Ben Foster because he is better than the alternatives.

Defenders:

Wayne Bridge, Ashley Cole, Rio Ferdinand, Glen Johnson, John Terry, Matthew Upson & Joleon Lescott.

Midfielders:

Gareth Barry, Steven Gerrand, Frank Lampard, James Milner, David Beckham, Joe Cole, Arron Lennon, Owen Hargreaves (if fit) & Theo Walcott.

I would definitely take Beckham, as I still think he has something to offer - he is also the best crosser we have!!

Strikers:

James Beattie, Wayne Rooney, Gabriel Agbonlahor, Peter Crouch & Jermain Defoe.

I would take Beattie instead of Heskey, cause I believe he is a younger version of Heskey & being a Saints supporter I have to!!

Hopefully if my maths is right that is 23!!

Hi all ...

Decided it was about time I joined the blogging world .... so here goes.

I live in urbanisation that is Southampton - I think the planners want a Solent city .... yuk!!
